I’ve been interested in photography seriously for about fifteen years now. I started because my kids played sports and I wanted really good action shots of their play. I learned about the various cameras and more importantly the costly lenses. Once I learned about those I started a process of trial and error to get the perfect pictures I wanted. When my daughter graduated from high school a couple of her friend’s mothers asked if I would take their daughters senior photos, and my business began. Another friend asked me to shoot her daughter’s wedding and so I added that to my repertoire too. I love how pictures capture a story. In that one moment, life is frozen for all time. Here’s a few photo’s that I took that evoked a visceral feeling in me, for one reason or another. Only one wasn’t taken by me and that is the photo of my family below at Christmas time. Enjoy!
