BOOK SPOTLIGHT on "Hidden Gypsy Magic"
Author of the Series "A Witch’s Journey Series"
Tena Stetler is a best-selling author of award-winning paranormal romance books with an over-active imagination. She wrote her first vampire romance as a tween, to the chagrin of her mother, and the delight of her friends.
Colorado is home; shared with her husband, a brilliant Chow Chow, a spoiled parrot, and a forty-five-year-old box turtle. When she’s not writing, her time is spent kayaking, camping, hiking, biking or just relaxing in the great Colorado outdoors.
Her books tell tales of magical kick-ass women and mystical alpha males that dare to love them. Travel, adventure, and a bit of mystery flourish in her books along with a few companion animals to round out the tales.

Hidden Gypsy Magic Blurb:
The Salem Wildlife Sanctuary is Gwen Taylor's life work. Her Irish Gypsy heritage provides a hidden talent she uses to help the creatures under her care. But even her magical skills can't help new rescues in dire need of veterinary care.
The opportunity of signing on as the vet for Gwen's sanctuary dropped into Brock Scutter's lap after he expanded his practice to include wildlife. The personal attraction he and Gwen experience is undeniable the more their professional and personal lives collide.
Touring the only "non-haunted" house in Salem they both feel a spark of magic. A trip to his family's cabin uncovers a heritage he didn't know existed. If they want a future together, it means facing the consequences of awakening hidden Gypsy magic and a race against the clock to correct past wrongs.
Hello Tena! Welcome to Jeny's TattleTales!
Okay lovely lady, let's start this conversation with our first questions. Well, there are actually two questions: What are the words you live by? A kind of motto?
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, WOW what a ride!"
Your books are about witches: What was the hardest, most unusual, or interesting part of the story to research??
The Salem Witch Trials. They have always intrigued me since I was in a high school play The Crudible. As I was researching the individuals involved in the trials, a what-if moment popped into my head. It worked well in the story. LOL
What blows your skirt up or knocks your socks off, besides family and friends?
Camping, RVing. I love to travel, basically wander around new places, and discover wonderful things.
What are two (or more) of your all-time favorite books in any genre?
I absolutely love The Dragon Riders of Pern Series by Anne McCaffrey; and all the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling.
If you could spend time with a character from your book, whom would it be? And what would you do during that day?
I love all my characters. If I have to choose, it would be Gwen or Pepper from A Witch’s Journey Series. Wildlife rescue and rehab is a subject near and dear to my heart. I am an animal person through and through. I would work alongside them at one of their sanctuaries. Also, I would love to explore that house in Salem in Hidden Gypsy Magic.
Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
Giving someone a second chance or a leg up is important. As is paying it forward.
What’s next for you?
Jeny, I’m so glad you asked. Chocolate Raspberry Magic will release in April 2021. I'm polishing the sixth book in A Demon's Witch Series, by the time you read this the manuscript will be with my editor at The Wild Rose Press. Fingers crossed she likes it. AND I’m starting a new project, An Angel’s Wylder West Assignment, part of the Wylder West Series. This book will feature a couple of favorite characters from AN ANGEL’S UNINTENTIONAL ENTANGLEMENT (book4 in A Demon’s Witch Series). Keep an eye out for more information.
Amazing...now a final question before we go: What would you most like to say to your readers?
I hope my books whisk you away from your reality into a magical, fantasy adventure allowing you to forget your worries and stress for a little while. Thank you so much for buying and enjoying my books!

"This house may not have a history of magic, but I'd bet it's magical. Pepper is going to go nuts when she sees this. You're going to put an offer in. Right?"
"As I said before, it may be completely out of my price range."
"I have a feeling the house has been waiting for you." Gwen flung her hand to her mouth, her face flushed, and her gaze swiveled to him. "I don't know what made me say that."
Looking thoughtful, he grinned. "Since the day I stumbled upon Pepper's secret — then discovered that you and I share the gift or curse of gypsy blood, things have been different—" Pausing, he shoved his hand in his jean's pocket and jingled the change in his pocket. "I've been different. It's as if knowing magic exists awakened something in me."
"Join the club. Years ago Pepper made a believer out of me. In fact, there were times I wished—never mind. Whether it was my outlook or as you said magic awakened. But to be fair, I've always had what I called a sixth sense with animals, attuned to their feelings, almost their thoughts, fears, that kind of thing. Pepper called it my talent. But as we became close, I noticed other abilities… you'll think I'm crazy."
"Try me." He moved closer to her and the front door banged open. Quickly he rushed to the top of the stairs.
“It feels like all the air is being sucked out of this room.” His brother’s face turned ashen white as Beth’s ghostly form took shape in the center of the room.
Brock moved to the little group gathered and glanced at the grandfather clock standing in the hallway. Fifteen minutes until midnight. The witching hour on All Hallows Eve. A nervous chuckle rose up in his throat. How cliche. His brother would be a believer after this night.
He cleared his throat and wrapped an arm around Gwen’s waist. “Can we help you, Beth?” Misfit’s howling could be heard clearly from the upstairs bedroom.
“No, but I hope we can help you.” Ghost Beth glanced back at the painting and sadly shook her head. “The ghost of Judge John Hathorne stands outside ready to curse or worse all those involved in sullying his reputation. The house stands between all of you…protecting—” The ghost’s hand and arm made a sweeping motion toward their group, “— against his magic ability.”
A soft almost hysterical giggle burst from Gwen. “Doesn’t he know that by his actions this night, he has not only outed himself but proved the rumors and article are true?”
“I don’t believe he’s considered that point.” Beth’s ghostly grim face twitched into a half-smile.
“He’s bent on revenge, but apparently had trouble passing through the veil this evening.” She pointed to the clock and then laid a finger on her lips.
